SHEEP 733 Head Penned (704 Lambs, 29 Ewes)

Another very encouraging entry of over 700 prime lambs met a very fast trade for all categories with some of the lightweights selling around the 140p per kilo mark and up to 143.9p per kilo on the day.
                                       
The majority of the handyweight meated sorts found a ready market between 120p and 130p per kilo all through.  The heavier lambs also showed good returns with many pens selling in excess of 120p per kilo with the majority selling between £55 and £59 per head.

Better quality ewes on offer this week saw a top price of £43 per head to average just under £32 per head all through.
